A few more images of the products currently available/launching very soon at @oxfordproducts including the NEW camping range (very exciting), Nomad luggage (modular and clips together), and ladies wear (huge range).

The ladies wear has had a big growth since my last visit 2 years ago… The jackets range from armoured hoodies for casual riding, to leather for a more sleek race feel, and waterproof laminate for the adventure seekers. The colourways have been tweaked and fit is more adjustable and functional in many of the jackets- with safety and affordability still at the forefront of Oxford’s ethos. In terms of trousers, not only do we now have leggings and jeans alongside textiles, there’s also leopard print and leather look riding leggings for more ‘ride to work/dinner’ wear too.

Come join me as I visit @oxfordproducts to see what’s in store for their female gear and adventure kit. It was a really interesting visit for me, having some great discussions with Paul as to their new ladies’ range and how they can get that out to more women bikers.

The issue as I see it is that Oxford are actually spending time on making this amazing, quality gear, but it’s not seen in shops- and as they don’t retail directly, unless a dealer buys it then you’re never going to see it! Would be a shame to see their hard work go unnoticed especially with more women-focussed development days in the pipeline.

Their new Nomad modular luggage range is ideal for those with sports bikes or more off-road style bikes that aren’t usually able to hold hard luggage. And their new camping range has me super excited as a fellow camper and outdoor enthusiast! We welcome the return of Motogymkhana to our Arena

We welcome the return of Motogymkhana to our Arena in August! The chance to play and develop your skills on either your own bike or theirs.

"Motogymkhana was born in Japan in the late 1960's as a stealthy way of improving motorcycle riding skills in a safe environment by getting the riders to have fun and practice riding tight short courses as quickly as their skill will allow.

It became a time trial sport and is one rider at a time against the clock on a course the riders have not ridden before and is practiced by groups of enthusiasts all over the world. Its run by volunteers and is not for profit.

MGWM promotes the introduction of riders to better and advanced riding techniques using motogymkhana techniques. We can train for competition but we chose not to as there are massive gains to be made for all road riders in getting to grips with the fundamentals of Motogymkhana riding. Throttle control, rear braking, clutch use, tight turns leaning the bike at slower speeds and being confident riding in 1st gear.

We do this by encouraging all participants to have fun, be supportive and ride safely. All motogymkhana is done in an off road situation with limited bikes participating at the same time. Any bike can do it some are better than others but you can safely explore the limits of any bike on a motogymkhana course

At the Womenmoto show we will have basic courses for any rider to follow one of us around (No memorising courses required). Using my bikes or yours if you chose or start on mine get the hang of it and come back on yours. Roll up sign on and provide your licence or cbt qualification ( we need to see this as a minimum).

If a rider has a particular problem with a manoeuvre we can include that in the ride to help their skill or confidence so you can ask us anything and we are happy to help we like to think of ourselves as a big daft family so come and join in its a fun way to learn and get supported by a global network of riders" Tickets- www.womenmoto.co.uk

-Ride Free with Honda as a complete beginner or a little rusty!
-CBT Refresher courses, if you have’t ridden since you passed your CBT and want a reminder of what to do!
-Panel talks hosted by RubyRides, featuring Laura from Women Only Motorcycle Training, Ride With Poppy, Sarah Dennis and more to come.
-AJ Kell ‘The Honest Biker’ as our show host.
-Sit Down Sessions including ‘Confidence After a Crash’ with Jade Abel

What a brilliant day yesterday meeting friends old and new! There was a huge turn out for the @makeyourmarkcharity launch of the Bike and Brew passport at the Owl’s Nest. Great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the sun (although shouldered by frost 😅)
